Szunyog and Quint ambassadors with representatives of NGOs from the north

The Head of EU office in Kosovo, Tomáš Szunyog, together with the Quint ambassadors, met with representatives of NGOs in the north of Kosovo today, stating that "the report about the verbal and physical attack on the executive director of Aktiva, Miodrag Milicevic, is worrying".

He stated on Twitter that he was encouraged by the fact that the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo opened an investigation into this matter.

He adds that he discussed the security situation and the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina with representatives of NGOs and ambassadors of Quint.

"We discussed several issues, including the current security situation in the north and how it affects the local population. It is of the utmost importance that the EU-backed dialogue, supported by Quint continues to deliver benefits for all people living in Kosovo," Szunyog said.
