Tahiri: The government blocks the work of the parliament; there was no quorum for the Presidency session

Besnik Tahiri, the Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, stated that today's meeting of the Presidency of the Assembly had failed to take place due to a lack of quorum.

During a press conference, he said that the blockade of the Assembly was not the opposition's fault but rather the fault of the Kosovo Government.

"The Presidency session failed because there was no quorum, and as a result, we cannot have a new session of the Assembly on Thursday," Tahiri stated.

The spring session of the Kosovo Assembly has been marked by interruptions and delays due to a lack of quorum, and over the past two weeks, the members of parliament have not gathered even once, which is why many draft laws await adoption.
