Vesic: Kurti, a Balkan arsonist, showed his true colors in North Macedonia

The Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure, Goran Vesic, said that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had shown his true face in North Macedonia, that his policy was "Greater Albania" and that he was ready for war.

Vesic told TV Pink, to the statement that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was traveling to Athens tomorrow, for a dinner with the leaders of the Western Balkans, which would also be attended by Albin Kurti, and to the question of whether he expected any provocations, he replied that Vucic was always ready to talk, and that he had never refused any meeting, even with those who had insulted him, even when he had known that meeting would not solve anything.

"He was elected by the citizens of Serbia, to solve problems, to talk, to fight for the country and he is doing that. Provocations, if there are any, are not something new for him. He cannot choose his interlocutors, he always talked with Kurti, and it's always for a conversation, rather than a confrontation with anyone," Vesic said.

He pointed out that people in Kosovo lived worse and worse, with a high level of corruption, which was why Kurti could only offer war and conflicts.

"Serbia wants to develop, but it also wants the region to develop. We want investors to come to Pristina and Kosovska Mitrovica; we want the Albanians in Pristina to live well, because they deserve it, as well as the Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica. But, we have Kurti, whose policy is 'Greater Albania', the expulsion of the Serbs, and conflicts. It is difficult to talk to someone who has nothing to lose," the Minister stated.

Vesic also pointed out that Vucic's visit to Hungary was a part of his policy, which succeeded in building excellent relations with its neighbors, but also with other countries in the region, adding that through the "Open Balkan", which consisted of Serbia, Albania, and North Macedonia, a single economic space, with free flow of goods, capital, services, and people, was created in order to make the three countries more competitive.

He pointed out that the cooperation with Hungary had never been better, because the two countries were working together on important joint infrastructure projects, such as the Belgrade-Budapest high-speed railway, the Subotica-Szeged railway, which had been completed and would soon be opened for passenger traffic, and the expansion of the Horgos crossing, expansion of the "Y" junction towards Kelebija, and construction of the "smiley road" from Nakovo to Srpska Crnja...

"Cooperation between Serbia and Hungary has never been more versatile and stronger, and that is the merit of Vucic and Orban because they improved the relations between the two countries through personal contacts," Vesic said.
