Nebojsa Vlajic, the legal representative of land owners in the municipalities of Leposavic and Zubin Potok, pointed out that the public discussion on expropriation was late, because the base in Gornji Jasenik had already been completed, and speaking about today's discussion in Zubin Potok, he assessed that it had been a copy of the one in Leposavic.

Vlajic told Kosovo Online that even today they had not received an answer from the Pristina authorities as to what the Kosovo government wanted to build on the land that was in the process of expropriation.

"This discussion was even more useless than the one in Leposavic because a police base has already been built at one location and any talk about economic development or road construction falls into the water when we see what has been built there," Vlajic said and added that the official had gone to such an extent that he had not even wanted to admit it.

According to his words, citizens would expect something in the coming period for which they had to be prepared because the government would insist on implementing its decisions.

He states that the lawsuits against both Leposavic and Zubin Potok have been submitted to the Supreme Court and the General Court in Pristina and that it was expected that the hearings would be scheduled and that something would finally begin to resolve.

"This problem must be solved. The government has enough reasons to stop these actions because there is no legality here. Everything that was done is illegal, even this discussion serves to pretend legality because the buildings were built more than half a year ago and we are having a discussion about it today, and the public discussion must precede the expropriation," Vlajic concluded.
