Vucevic: Gratitude to Cyprus for its support in preserving Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty

Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic expressed gratitude to Andreas Photiou, the Ambassador of Cyprus, for his country's continuous support in preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

As stated by the Ministry of Defense, Vucevic emphasized during the meeting that bilateral relations between Serbia and Cyprus had traditionally been good and friendly, free from any outstanding issues, and built on mutual respect and cooperation.

He stressed that Serbia supported finding a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus issue in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.

During today's meeting, Minister Vucevic thanked Cyprus for its hospitality during his official visit, emphasizing the significance of cooperation between the two countries and the support for its further development.

As reported, Ambassador Photiou expressed his gratitude to Minister Vucevic for the reception and expressed the expectation that there would be a continued series of meetings between state officials at the highest levels in the coming period.
