General Mojsilovic with the Ambassador of Cyprus: Thank you for supporting the territorial integrity of Serbia

The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic, spoke today with the Ambassador of Cyprus in Belgrade, Demitrios Theophylactou, and on that occasion expressed his gratitude for the support that Cyprus provided to Serbia in terms of preserving territorial integrity.

During the meeting, held at the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, the current political and security situation in the region and prospects for the development of bilateral military-military cooperation had been discussed, the Ministry of Defense announced.

In the conversation, the commitment to the further development of cooperation between the Serbian Army and the National Guard of Cyprus was confirmed, with the assessment that military-military cooperation represented an important part of the overall relations between the two countries, which throughout history had always been characterized by closeness and friendship.

"On this occasion, General Mojsilovic expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Theophylactou for the firm support that Cyprus provided to our country when it came to preserving the territorial integrity of Serbia, as well as in the process of integration into the European Union," the announcement states.
