Vucevic: Serbia is peaceful and safe as long as it has a strong army
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Milos Vucevic, together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic, today visited the units of the Third Army Brigade in Kursumlija. On that occasion he said that Serbia was peaceful and safe while it had a strong army ready to carry out any task it received from commander in chief.
"In heroic Toplica, together with the Chief of the General Staff General Mojsilovic and other senior officers of the Serbian Armed Forces, we are visiting the garrison in Kursumlija and inspecting the condition of the units deployed here, the morale of our soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers, the condition of equipment and weapons," said Vucevic on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia.
Vucevic pointed out that it was an opportunity to exchange opinions regarding the plans for the next period in a direct conversation, in accordance with the orders of the top of the state.
"And from here I can send a clear message that the Serbian Army is ready to carry out every task it receives from its country, from the President of the Republic as the commander-in-chief, protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country," Vucevic said.
He emphasized that Serbia was peaceful and safe as long as it had a strong army.
Vucevic said that the Army was the greatest protector and guardian of the freedom of all citizens of Serbia.
