Strengthening economic ties with the United States further enhances Serbia’s reputation on the global stage, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic said today during a meeting with the delegation of the American-Serbian Business Council (ASBC).

Vucic met with representatives of companies such as Archer Daniels Midland, Bechtel, Citi, MSD, Organon, Palo Alto Networks, Pfizer, Visa, and USBC.

Vucic highlighted on Instagram that cooperation with American companies brings not only capital but also technology transfer, along with invaluable and precious experience in modernization and project management.

“That is why, with the ASBC delegation, I am discussing investment prospects in Serbia, the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and the potential for joint work on some of the key projects that will position Serbia at the top of the international business scene. This meeting is the result not only of the interest of major US companies in investing in our country but also of Serbia's long-term, serious efforts in fostering responsible relations with investors and creating an excellent business environment,” Vucic stated.

He expressed optimism and commitment to working together to achieve goals that, he believes, will bring a revolution in various sectors of the Serbian economy, including energy, infrastructure, ICT, and digitalization.

“Such partnerships provide Serbia with the opportunity to become more competitive in the global market and ensure a stable path toward further development and prosperity,” Vucic concluded.
