Vucic with Senator Daines: For Serbia, relations and cooperation with the US are of the utmost importance
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with US Senator Steve Daines, and on that occasion, he emphasized that relations and cooperation with the US are of the utmost importance for Serbia.
In the press service of the President of Serbia, it is emphasized that Vucic presented the current developments in the region to Senator Daines, pointing out that Serbia promotes a positive cooperation agenda in the Western Balkans, as a prerequisite for peace and stability.
Also, President Vucic pointed out that the United States contributes greatly to the progress of the Serbian economy with its investments and expressed hope for the arrival of new American investors.
"The two interlocutors discussed various current global issues, including energy security," the statement added.
In a post on Instagram, Vucic wrote that Daines is from Belgrade, but from Belgrade in Montana.
"You won't believe it – he is from Belgrade, but from Belgrade in Montana. That city was named after the Serbs who built the railway there and named the new station in honor of their hometown. We had a good conversation about all the important issues," Vucic stated.
