Vucic: A huge amount of money invested in destroying the Serb List and Serbs in Kosovo

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated today that a huge amount of money has been invested in destroying the Serb List, as well as the Serbian people in Kosovo.

"They attacked us through the Serb List, that great Serb Arsenijevic, for whom many honorable Serbs in the north voted... And Rasic. And in the end, Kurti regrets that they didn't win a few more mandates to attack the Serb List. But the Serb List is the only one that has protected the interests of the Serbian people, and maybe some others. But these two did not, and they did everything to destroy it," said Vucic, addressing members of the Main Board of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).

He pointed out that Western countries, from Germany onward, invested large sums of money to destroy the Serb List.

"How much money they received from various countries, from Germany onward, just to destroy the Serb List, various agencies that present themselves as development agencies... All the money, just to destroy the Serb List and the Serbian people in Kosovo. The same is happening in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Vucic said.

He warned that the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is very difficult.

"Everyone in the world blames the Republic of Srpska, which does not correspond to reality, but it is easier for them. It is easier for Europe to show its power and strength using that example. I am afraid that it will again be the Serbian people who will bear the brunt, because they cannot show strength in Ukraine and other places. Therefore, we must prevent this with political knowledge, diplomatic skills, reputation, seriousness, and responsibility," Vucic said.

He emphasized that the Serbian people do not need conflict anywhere, neither in Serbia nor in the Republic of Srpska.

Vucic repeated that great changes have occurred in the world, and in the new geopolitical framework, Serbia must find its "place in the sun."

"American foreign and domestic policy is changing significantly, and we are talking about the greatest power in the world. Will it always work in our favor? No. Do not have illusions that American policy on Kosovo and Metohija will change. It is illusory to think that it will change regarding the Republic of Srpska. It will not. But I believe they will want to listen to us more clearly, to hear our arguments. I believe that we will be able to start creating a real alliance, that we can count on having open doors in the United States, that we will have someone who is a good acquaintance to us, and why not, in the future, perhaps even a friend," said Vucic.
