Vucic: Kosovo and Metohija are Serbia’s sacred pledge, greater than any politics

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated at the central gathering of the “All-People’s Assembly” in Nis that Kosovo is Serbia’s sacred pledge, greater than any form of politics.

“The future of Serbia lies in the pride and dignity of our people, which we will not allow anyone to destroy. Kosovo and Metohija is Serbia. And that is not just the Constitution of our country—it is the heart and soul of our nation. It is our pledge. It is greater than any politics,” Vucic declared.

Speaking about the geopolitical situation, he emphasized that Serbia must find its position.

“This country, even in the most difficult times, did not abandon its traditional friends,” he said.

He reminded that he did not impose sanctions on Russia and that he traveled to Moscow to fight for a better gas price—for Serbia.

Today, the central gathering of the “All-People’s Assembly” is being held in Nis, during which the Movement for the People and the State was officially launched.
