Vucic with Power: We do not accept unilateral decisions that directly endanger the rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with USAID Administrator Samantha Power and discussed Serbia's readiness for the continuation of dialogue with Pristina as well as not accepting unilateral decisions that could threaten the rights of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

President Aleksandar Vucic commented on this meeting on Instagram, stating that one of the topics was the enhancement of bilateral and economic cooperation with the United States.

"An important, open, and substantive conversation with Samantha Power about concrete and prioritized subjects for further enhancement of bilateral and economic cooperation with the US, as well as the situation in the region and current regional and global geopolitical challenges," he wrote.

He emphasized Serbia's consistent readiness in the ongoing dialogue process with Pristina, noting that the country would not accept any unilateral decisions that could endanger the Serbs in Kosovo.

"I reiterated Serbia's unwavering readiness for the continuation of the dialogue with Pristina, as well as the determination not to accept any unilateral decisions that directly endanger the rights of the Serbian community in Kosovo and Metohija," Vucic pointed out.

In addition to expressing gratitude, the Serbian President added that they had discussed potential investments that would improve the comprehensive progress of the country.

"I expressed gratitude for the assistance that USAID has provided to our country through its programs in strengthening the competitiveness of the Serbian economy, and we also discussed potentials for additional investments in energy infrastructure and the initiation of new projects aimed at Serbia's comprehensive and balanced economic progress," Vucic conveyed.
