Vucic: Serbia remains committed to creating an atmosphere of mutual trust

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated today that Serbia, as always, remained committed to sincerely advocating for the creation of an atmosphere of mutual trust, understanding, and respect and that this commitment had been demonstrated through numerous initiatives that opened up significant opportunities for strong cooperation among countries in the region, for the benefit of all those living in the Western Balkans.

Vucic made this statement on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" ahead of the meeting of leaders within the Brdo-Brijuni Process in Skopje.

"I am grateful to the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Natasa Pirc Musar, the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, and the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, for their warm welcome and for hosting this important meeting. During the meeting, I will discuss with counterparts from the region some of the key principles of regional cooperation, sustainable development, and climate change, as well as the European Union's enlargement policy, which is a strategic point for further relations within the European continent," Vucic stated.

One of the more important topics, he added, will be the continuation of comprehensive political, economic, and social reforms that will keep young people in these areas, thereby further ensuring the prosperity, stability, and progress of the entire Europe.
