Vucic: Serbs will remain in Kosovo and Metohija despite the wishes of many for them to disappear
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today that Serbs in Kosovo will continue to live there despite the wishes of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and many others for them to disappear from that region, Novosti reports.
"Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija will remain in Kosovo and Metohija, despite the wishes of Albin Kurti, Nenad Canak, Sonja Biserko, and many others for the Serbs to disappear," Vucic said in response to journalists' questions regarding the announcement by the government in Pristina that the president of the Helsinki Committee in Serbia, Sonja Biserko, and former LSV (League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina) leader Nenad Canak informed Kurti that Vucic allegedly intends to relocate Serbs from Kosovo to Sandzak.
Vucic added that he had seen many circuses in his life but had never witnessed a circus like the one Albin Kurti, Sonja Biserko, and Nenad Canak were prepared to create.
"It would never even occur to me to come up with something like that. Briefly put, it is foolish," Vucic said.
