Vucic: Someone does not want Serbia to see peace, but wants to draw us into conflicts

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, regarding the incident in the Parliament, said that everything was well organized according to the same principle as in some other places, because someone did not want Serbia to see peace, but wanted to involve us in conflicts.

"It is good that you, great Serbian heroes, know that today you are the main news of all Albanian and Croatian extreme and all other media. And for that they engaged professionally and carried out the action," Vucic explained.

Vucic said that Serbia would strive for a compromise behavior and that he would not apologize to "those who looted Kolubara, who at every moment and in every place did everything against the vital interests of Serbia".

"The problem is that you tried to declare those, who are much more patriotic than you, as traitors. But the people will see who is on the side of Serbia and who is not, who will protect Kosovo and Metohija, and who sold it. You will go down in history with the shame you have caused today, and we will see who will save their honor and image and the honor and image of Serbia," he told the opposition.

The leader of the New Democratic Party of Serbia, Milos Jovanovic, said that it was possible that Vojislav Kostunica made mistakes, but that, whatever he had done, he had never helped the statehood of Kosovo, like the current government in 2013.

He pointed out that he could not wait to see "who is on the side of Serbia and who is not".

"Jovanovic, you went to Vienna for negotiations in 2007 with Thaci, Ceku, and Jaksic. The result of those negotiations was the declaration of Kosovo's independence. Slobodan Samardzic led the Office for Kosovo and Metohija and looted Kosovo, and now he is a great patriot. I am the one who has a responsibility toward the people to ensure that the citizens do not go to wars and to protect the Republic of Kosovo. That's the difference between us," Vucic underlined.

He said that citizens could see today that when there were no arguments, shouting and violence followed.

"You made a circus show; you did everything you could against Serbia. Now I know how anti-state and anti-Serb oriented you are and that your only goal is the destruction of Serbia. Not a single Serb from Kosovo was happy to see this today, only Kurti's followers," Vucic concluded.

Head of Dveri Bosko Obradovic said that there was no problem if a conclusion was defined in which it would be stated that during further negotiations with the Western “Five”, the president would refuse to sign any agreement requiring Serbia not to oppose Kosovo's accession to international organizations.
