The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, spoke with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Antonio Tajani, about the situation in Kosovo.

As reported by the Presidency of Serbia, Tajani pointed out to Vucic in a telephone conversation that it was necessary to preserve peace and stability and that was why he had asked for the de-escalation of the situation in Kosovo, as well as the return of the Serbs to the institutions in Pristina.

Vucic said that it was necessary to fulfill one small and simple condition, which was to respect the Brussels Agreement, that is, to form the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, which Pristina had committed to by signing the document, almost ten years ago, and that everything else was the product of unilateral decisions and moves by Pristina, the statement added.

Vucic reiterated that Serbia remained committed to the policy of peace and stability.
