Vucic: The state and its interests above the parties' interests; I will fight for Kosovo and Metohija and our Serbia

The state of Serbia and its interests must always come before parties and individual interests. Only together and united can we fight for a better future for our country, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said.

"Dear citizens of Serbia, two days ago, I told the truth about all the problems we are facing regarding Kosovo and Metohija. I did not hide anything from you. I also told you how and how much we fought and how we intend to fight for our country in the future," Vucic said.

The President emphasized that he offered to all political parties in the country to familiarize them with the pressures and everything Serbia was facing.

"They said they didn’t want to talk, or at least a bigger part of them said so, but they want a public manifestation, a performance for their political action. I am sorry that they didn't understand that the country is more important than the political interests of any party and any of us. Anyway, it is my obligation to respect the parliament and meet all requests. I will appear in the National Assembly, answer all questions, and fight for Kosovo and Metohija and our Serbia. Only together and united can we fight for a better future for our country," Vucic stated on Instagram.
