Vucic: We will have many problems with Kurti's provocations
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today in Krupanj that the country faces many problems related to Kosovo and the ongoing provocations by Albin Kurti, adding that several important visits are expected in the coming period.
"We will have many problems regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, with Albin Kurti’s constant provocations. We have many challenges related to the Expo. Now, the Israeli president is visiting, soon there are the United Nations meetings, many visits, and before that, Brussels. Many visits, important events. So, we will keep pushing Serbia forward," Vucic said.
At the end of his stay in Podrinje, during a visit to the Health Center in Krupanj, President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters that there is a difficult task ahead regarding the company Rio Tinto, with a lot of "arm-wrestling," but what matters to him is hearing serious arguments.
He added that it is up to the state to establish the best possible oversight, to control everything, and to clearly inform citizens whether something will be safe or not.
"If we cannot say that something is safe, we won’t say it. If we can say it is safe, then it will be safe. It will be as clear as day. Now, we move on to other matters," Vucic added.
The President of Serbia spent five days in Podrinje, where he spoke with citizens about the potential lithium mining project in the Jadar Valley, which had sparked protests. During his stay in western Serbia, he also inspected road infrastructure projects, visited several schools and healthcare facilities, and family-owned businesses.
