Sociologist Vladimir Vuletic assessed that Miroslav Lajcak's visit to Pristina following the failed talks in Brussels last week indicated the European Union's urgency to conclude the process initiated by the Ohrid Agreement.

The EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, met this morning in Pristina with Kosovo's chief negotiator and Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.

Vuletic emphasizes to Kosovo Online that this is a clear signal that the European Union is keen to complete the ongoing processes.

"The European Union is keen for the process initiated by the Ohrid Agreement to conclude before the European elections are called and before the Brussels administration completes its mandate. That's why there's a rush in Brussels. And that's why Lajcak, empowered by the EU to lead these negotiations, is doing everything in his power to finalize this process," Vuletic highlighted.
