The president of the municipality of Zubin Potok, Srdjan Vulovic, told Kosovo Online that the behavior of the people from Pristina who had come to the premises of the Municipal Election Commission with the police today around 1 pm had been very arrogant and unprofessional.

"Three armored vehicles came in front of the municipality. Two officials, accompanied by two policemen, passed by the porter's office without explanation and without any need, kicked open the unlocked door of the chamber used by the Municipal Election Commission. Our employee was there, who was taken aback by the whole situation", Vulovic says.

As we found out, the Albanian from the Ministry of the Local Government had spoken with the new official of the election commission, exclusively in the Albanian language. In question is Deputy Minister Albin Krasniqi, otherwise an official of the Self-Determination Movement. We had tried to reach him on the phone for a comment, but after he had answered and heard what we had been asking him, he had disconnected the call and had not answered again.

"The policeman was translating what they were saying. He told us that the new OIK officer would work there from now on, from 8 am to 4 pm every day. Then the handyman, they had brought with them, came in and changed the lock on the door. After that, they left the building, got into jeeps, and left. From now on, they will be in the premises of the Zubin Potok Election Commission", Vulovic told us and added that the shoe print of one of them had remained on the door of the office.

Several Albanians, armed with rifles, who apparently were with them, climbed to the first floor of the municipal building before they all got out together and left the municipality. Meanwhile, people gathered in front of the building.

"It is unnecessary for them to act like this. This can cause unnecessary incidents. We reacted calmly and did not want to fall prey to provocations", Srdjan Vulovic said.
