Zaporozac after the hearing: I am certain this is a political process against me and my colleagues

The President of the Provisional Authority of the Municipality of Kosovska Mitrovica, Ivan Zaporozac, stated after his hearing at the police station in North Mitrovica that he was absolutely certain it was a political process against him and his colleagues.

"I am proud to have honorably performed, and continue to perform, the duties of the President of the Provisional Authority, and I absolutely believe that I have done my job honestly," Zaporozac said.

He emphasized that he is being accused of document forgery but could not comment further on the matter.

"Simply put, tensions are high, and significant events have occurred in the past few days. The only message I can convey is that I am here, that the entire Serbian people in the territory of Kosovska Mitrovica should remain here, stay calm, and believe that this will all pass and that we will remain and endure in this area," Zaporozac said.

As Igor Simic, a member of the Presidency of the Serb List, stated today at a press conference, he had also received a summons for a hearing via a Viber message, scheduled for 4 PM.

Yesterday, former mayor of North Mitrovica, Milan Radojevic, was also questioned at the police station in North Mitrovica.
