The Kosovo police have raided the buildings of the Provisional Authorities in four municipalities in the north

Members of the special unit of the Kosovo police raided the buildings of the Provisional Authorities in four Serbian municipalities in the north this afternoon — Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan, and Zubin Potok.

The Deputy Commander of the Kosovo Police for the North Region, Veton Elshani, confirmed to Kosovo Online that the operation is taking place in all four municipalities in the north, where, as he stated, parallel institutions are located.

He emphasized that this does not include healthcare and educational institutions.

A reporter from Kosovo Online reports that the police also raided the building of the Bureau of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, which also houses the headquarters of the Kosovska Mitrovica District, as well as the premises of the Provincial Pension and Disability Insurance Fund (PIO).

About 300 meters from the location where the special forces raided, vehicles belonging to EULEX are parked.

The special forces also entered the hospital compound of the Clinical Hospital Center in Kosovska Mitrovica.

A cameraman from Kosovo Online, while doing his job and filming what was happening in front of the building, was shown the double-headed eagle symbol by an Albanian from a car.

According to the Kosovo Online report, the police, armed with long-barreled weapons, simultaneously raided the buildings of the Provisional Municipal Authorities in Kosovska Mitrovica and Leposavic shortly after 5 p.m.

Police officers wearing balaclavas and armed with long-barreled weapons are stationed in front of the building in North Mitrovica, along with Kosovo Police vehicles. A large number of special forces officers are also positioned at intersections in that municipality.

In Leposavic, police officers raided the former committee building, which houses the Provisional Municipal Authority of Leposavic, the Academy of Vocational Studies Kosovo and Metohija, the Urosevac and Leposavic department, and the Institute for Serbian Language and Culture.

The special forces broke down the doors that were locked.

EULEX is also present at the scene, and special police units are deployed throughout Leposavic, armed "to the teeth."

Kosovo special forces also raided the building of PUC "Zvecan," where the Provisional Municipal Authority of that municipality is located.
