Zvecan: All candidates for PDK and Self-Determination councilors from two families, and in electoral committees are the same families

On the list of candidates of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Self-Determination Movement for councilors in the Zvecan Municipal Assembly, in today's extraordinary elections, there are members of only two families, Kelmendi and Peci.

According to the election lists of candidates that Kosovo Online had access to, there are 16 PDK candidates for councilors in Zvecan, two from the Peci family - Ilir and Ukshin, and 14 from the Kelmendi family. The holder of the PDK list for councilors is Selvete Kelmendi.

Self-determination Movement has 11 candidates and all of them are from the Peci family. The holder of the list is Fetah Peci, who is also the candidate of this party for mayor of Zvecan.

By the way, in Zvecan, irregularities were recorded in the selection of election board members, which also have connections with people coming from the Kelmendi and Peci families.

Namely, according to the lists that Kosovo Online had access to, at the two polling stations where ten members were assigned; all of them come from these two families. At one polling station, as many as four Kelmendi family members control the elections, while the fifth member is Kujtim Peci. On the second, the distribution of forces is reversed, so the members of the board are three Peci family members and two Kelmendi.
