Nastic: Serbian Maidan – an obvious farce, protest demands do not correspond to the majority opinion in Serbia

In Belgrade, the obvious farce of "activists" allegedly advocating for democracy and human rights is once again unfolding, according to the member of the "Sahra Wagenknecht" movement in the German Bundestag, Zaklin Nastic.

In a commentary published in the German daily "Junge Welt", titled "Serbian Maidan?" Nastic stated that the circle was closing 23 years after the Otpor group - described by Die Zeit in 2011 as a "firm for overthrowing" - ousted Slobodan Milosevic from office at the turn of the century, and now "so-called democratic activists are returning to the scene of their actions in Belgrade".

In Serbia and Montenegro in 2000, they achieved what NATO bombs failed to do in 1999. And thus created the precursor to "color revolutions" that have since been "sowing chaos and war around the world".

From Georgia to Syria, Libya, and numerous South American countries to Kyiv, conspicuously "peaceful" protests have been organized, quickly turning into violence.

Always with strong, but primarily financial support from American so-called non-governmental organizations, especially the Soros Foundation, the National Endowment for Democracy, and the Albert Einstein Institute. But also with the support of German party foundations such as Friedrich Naumann, Konrad Adenauer, and Heinrich Boll.

The black flag of Otpor with a raised white fist appeared at protests worldwide.

Today in Belgrade, the entire farce of "activists" allegedly advocating for democracy and human rights is once again obvious.

You don't have to support Vucic's Government to understand that the protesters' demands do not correspond to the majority opinion in Serbia:

Surveys have consistently shown for years that over 70 percent consistently reject submission to EU and US dictates. As well as joining sanctions against Russia or recognizing Kosovo, which was forcibly seceded in violation of international law by NATO in 1999.

The election results precisely reflect the results of these surveys – whether it pleases NATO member states or not.

Otherwise, they had already called for a Serbian Maidan in May. Due to two mass murders that were undoubtedly tragic but difficult to blame on the government.

And the alleged election irregularities?

OSCE election observers confirmed that this occurred in a heated social atmosphere and that the ruling Serbian Progressive Party had been overrepresented in the media during the pre-election campaign.

However, the elections were in line with international standards.

OSCE also did not want to take on the accusation that voters were brought to polling stations by buses: It is not fundamentally prohibited as long as it is not linked to any election promise.

The "progressive", "peaceful" opposition alliance and its supporters probably had no choice but to forcibly enter the City Assembly. Because whoever does not want to hear the "call of Western values" must feel it.
