Predrag Pantic, the son of the arrested Dejan Pantic, who was ordered detention for 30 days yesterday by the Special Prosecutor's Office of the General Court in Pristina, appealed via a video for his father, who was a heart patient, to be given medication and that they let the family speak with him.

"I am appealing to everyone who can help to deliver the medicines to my father, which he has not received for four days and which he badly needs because he is a heart patient, has blood pressure problems, and recently had a stent implanted," Predrag Pantic says.

He adds that they don't have any information about the father except what the lawyer told them yesterday.

"We as a family have no contact with him, we don't know if he's okay; we heard he was sleeping on a chair. The lawyer saw him at the hearing via video link and says that he doesn't look very well. I'm asking everyone for a minimum of dignity and conditions because is sick. We are asking for treatment worthy of a human being, for him to receive his therapy and for him to receive the right to speak with his family and for us to hear from him if he is well and if he needs anything," the son of the arrested Dejan Pantic appeals.

The Special Prosecutor's Office of the General Court in Pristina ordered Pantic to be detained for 30 days, during the period from December 10 to January 9, 2023.
