Eparchy of Raska and Prizren: 35 Serbian Orthodox Church holy places destroyed during pogrom and nearly 900 houses set on fire

The Eparchy of Raska and Prizren stated on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the March Pogrom that during the pogrom, 50,000 Kosovo Albanian extremists had destroyed 35 Serbian Orthodox Church holy places, 19 people had died, over 4,000 Serbs had been driven from their homes, and nearly 900 houses had been set on fire.
As stated on the eparchy's Twitter account, memorial services were held today in all the churches of Kosovo and Metohija.
"Today we mark the 19th anniversary of the March Pogrom of 2004, in which 50,000 Albanian extremists destroyed 35 holy places of the Serbian Orthodox Church. 19 people died, over 4,000 Serbs were driven from their homes, and nearly 900 houses were set on fire. Memorial services were held in all temples of Kosovo and Metohija. May their memory be eternal," it is stated on the eparchy's Twitter account.
