The Kosovo Police stated in today's report that they received a report of damage to the fence near the Monastery of the Mother of God in Hvosno. The Eparchy of Raska and Prizren stated to Kosovo Online that they remained concerned about the Mother of God in Hvosno "as one of our significant historical sanctuaries that is included in special protected zones along with nearly fifty other Serbian Orthodox Church facilities in Kosovo and Metohija."

As stated by the Eparchy of Raska and Prizren, "the latest damage at this site (note by the author: archaeological remains of the Monastery of the Mother in God of Hvosno) shows that the facilities of our church are still endangered and need protection."

Let’s recall that Bishop Teodosije, accompanied by the abbot of Visoki Decani Monastery, Father Sava Janjic, visited the archaeological remains of the Monastery of the Mother of God in Hvosno near Istok on Wednesday. As stated by the Eparchy of Raska and Prizren on the "X" platform, the visit was conducted in coordination with the EULEX team.

In a 24-hour report, the Kosovo Police stated that a woman had complained by phone the day after the priest's visit that the fence of this complex had been damaged.

"She reported by phone that the church fence had been damaged," the report dated March 5 states.

Police units arrived at the scene of the incident, as stated, initiating an investigation for the criminal offense of "destruction or property damage."
