Petrovic: It is tense, the Special Forces are waiting for the tanker to take the wine; we will offer passive resistance
It is currently very tense in Velika Hoca because special police units with a tanker are expected to seize 42,000 liters of wine from Srdjan Petrovic's vineyard at any moment.
"We are waiting for the seizure to begin, the ROSU unit is ready, and they are here with shields. We will offer passive resistance. The locals have also gathered there, they are supporting me because they know the same thing is waiting for them. Everyone is on my side. We are worried and scared for our children and their future. We don't know if the tanker will come soon, there are special officers from ROSU units at the entrance of the village. The police are surrounding my house," Petrovic described the current situation in Velika Hoca for Kosovo Online.
Petrovic explains that he did not sell this wine; he offered a settlement with the authorities from Pristina, but they rejected all his attempts to resolve the situation through agreement.
This morning, the Kosovo Customs announced that during a routine check in a store in Velika Hoca in Orahovac, they had discovered that alcoholic beverages had been sold without authorization and that was the reason they had decided to confiscate 42,000 liters of alcoholic beverages, Koha reported.
