A car with Serbian license plates was set on fire in South Mitrovica

A car with the Serbian license plates was set on fire in South Mitrovica on the night between Friday and Saturday.

As the police stated in their report, "the complainant reported that his car with Serbian license plates caught fire under unknown circumstances".

"Investigators from South Mitrovica identified and arrested a person suspected of arson. A 59-year-old man, a former citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, was arrested. Based on preliminary investigations, it is suspected that the cause of the case is a dispute between the complainant and the suspect who resides in the same location. In the meantime, after the hearing, by order of the prosecutor in question, the suspect was remanded in custody for 48 hours," the police said.
