The Djoric family's house in Lipljan was stoned last night around 9 PM, resulting in broken window glass. Ljiljana Djoric highlighted that this is not the first time their house has been targeted by vandals, and the message is clear.

"I thought it was a firecracker, there were fireworks last night because of the elections, the TV was on so I didn't pay attention. It has happened before that they throw firecrackers, that they throw stones. My husband has reported it to the police and they have come, but nothing, they say these are small children, we can't do anything. This has been happening since the year 2000. Whether they are pressuring us because we are Serbs and they want us to sell the house...," said Djoric.

She added that there is significant pressure on the remaining Serbs in Lipljan.

"There are major attacks on us, from 10,000 Serbs in Lipljan only 300 of us remain. I work at a school, there is a very small number of students. All of us are under pressure, not just our family, but everyone who has stayed," she said.

The Kosovo police have conducted an investigation this time as well, however, the Djoric family does not expect their case to reach a resolution.

"The Kosovo police were here, they took photos, my husband gave a statement, there are ten reports in two months, since January the tenth report. When it was St. John's feast they attacked from the other side. They do not respond, whether they do not respond because we are Serbs, I think that's why, they do not want to protect us. After so many reports, they do not react," says Djoric.

She emphasizes that they do not feel safe in their own home.

"We are not safe at all, they might even kill us. We are their target, I don't know why, we do not harass or insult anyone," she added.
