The Office for Kosovo and Metohija reported that Albanian troublemakers had stoned the Serbian school in Kosovska Kamenica last night around 9:00 PM, adding that no one had been injured.

As added in the statement, the building houses three Serbian educational institutions: "Desanka Maksimovic" Elementary School, the Technical High School, and the Gymnasium.

"At the time of the incident, fortunately, there were no students attending these schools. However, this incident, like many previous ones, has deeply disturbed parents and their children. According to eyewitnesses, the schools were stoned by Albanian young men who had previously hung flags with inappropriate content on the school fence. It is evident that a climate is being created in Kosovo and Metohija in which Serbs are no longer safe in schools, health centers, their homes, or churches, as there is no Serbian facility that has not been looted, stoned, searched, broken into, or set on fire," the statement said.

The Office emphasizes that the stoning of the school testifies to the fact that the wave of violence and pressure on the Serbian people, generated and initiated by the authorities in Pristina, is also affecting and targeting the youngest generations.

"This creates an atmosphere where even attacking Serbs and stoning them is seen as acceptable and convenient, and no one would be held accountable. Instead of peaceful coexistence and creating mutual tolerance, respect, and diversity, the politicians in Pristina, led by Albin Kurti, are daily fueling a policy of terror and incendiary anti-Serbian statements. They are creating an atmosphere where attacking Serbs is legitimate, where a member of the so-called KSF shoots Serbian children and is released without consequence, and where no one is held accountable for shooting Serbs, for beating Serbian teenagers Dara and Kristijan, or for desecrating Serbian cemeteries and remains. In such an environment, the international community remains a silent observer of the rise of ethnically motivated violence against the Serbian people, instead of taking a clear and public stance on such actions and taking steps to protect the Serbs, as it is obligated to do within its mandate," the statement concludes.
