Two minors, aged 15 and 16, were detained today after the Kosovo Police carried out an inspection of a school bus on the Mitrovica–Zubin Potok route. The boys were detained because of offensive slogans on the T-shirts they were wearing, Petrit Fejza, assistant police commander for the northern region, confirmed to Kosovo Online.
“Today the police entered a school bus operating on the Mitrovica–Zubin Potok route, where they checked what kind of T-shirts the children were wearing. On that occasion, two minors aged 15 and 16 were detained because of T-shirts with offensive slogans,” Fejza told Kosovo Online.
The high school students’ T-shirts bore the slogans “Cetnici sever” (“Chetniks North”) and “You fight, the North will burn,” along with motifs of Red Star Belgrade supporters.
“The minors were brought to the police station, where they are currently being questioned in the presence of a social worker. After the procedure is completed, they will be released,” Fejza said.
