Lawyer of the injured Boban Djuzic: The investigation is ongoing, I expect the charges to be filed
Lawyer Vasilije Arsic will represent Boban Djuzic from Vitina, who was stabbed yesterday by Albanians in Mogila village, says that evidence is still being gathered, after which he expects that charges will be filed against the attackers.
Arsic, who was hired by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, says that the process is ongoing.
"I got in touch with the family today. The investigative units are doing their job, and I hope that charges will be filed against the attackers soon," Arsic told Kosovo Online.
He adds that he expects all institutions in Kosovo to do their job because this is not the first time something like this has happened.
"This is not the first time this has happened, they have to take this problem more seriously," Arsic said.
The father of the wounded young man, Ivica Djuzic, thanked the Office for Kosovo and Metohija for helping them and hiring a lawyer to represent his son.
"I am very grateful, it means everything to us. Unfortunately, I heard that one of the attackers was released, while the father of one of them came to my house gate and provoked me, almost causing a conflict," Djuzic says.
Djuzic asked the state of Serbia earlier to help him, after hearing that one of the attackers was released after his arrest because the family was unable to hire a legal representative in this case, to which the Office for Kosovo and Metohija responded immediately and found a lawyer to represent the Djuzic family.
