The defense attorney of the arrested Nemanja Vlaskovic, lawyer Predrag Miljkovic, told Kosovo Online that he had visited his client today in Podujevo and that he had filed an appeal against the court's decision, which had ordered his client to be detained for 30 days.

Miljkovic confirmed that Vlaskovic was fine, but that he was upset.

"I received a decision from the court ordering 30-day detention, I appealed to the Court of Appeal and we are waiting for that decision. Nemanja is fine, but she is visibly upset," Miljkovic said.

Nemanja Vlaskovic, who was arrested by members of the Kosovo Police for an alleged attack on journalists, was ordered to be detained for 30 days by the Basic Court in North Mitrovica.

Lawyer Miljkovic previously said that his client had not attacked journalists in Leposavic and that there was evidence for that.

The townspeople of Leposavic massively shared photos on social networks that clearly show that their fellow citizen Nemanja Vlaskovic, who was arrested by the Kosovo Police on June 16, on charges of assaulting journalists, is not the person that the Minister of Interior Xhelal Svecla circled in the photo that he published with the information about the arrest.

Today, protests were held in Leposavic, North Mitrovica, and Zvecan in support of the arrested Serbs from the north, Rados Petrovic, Dusan Obrenovic, Milun Milenkovic, Nemanja Vlaskovic, Milovan Božovic, Sladjan Trajkovic and Dalibor Spasic and Uros Vukasinovic.
