Serb M.J. from Zvecan was shot late last night with a firearm near the Bistrica Bridge not far from that place. As the Kosovo Online reporter finds, the shooting occurred near the checkpoint of the Kosovo Police special unit.

According to Dr. Nikola Radojicic, surgeon on-call at the Clinical Hospital Center "Kosovska Mitrovica", M.J. was operated on and is in the shock room.

"A little after 10:00 p.m., a patient with a gunshot wound in the right side of the chest was admitted to our department. He was brought in in a state of hemorrhagic shock and was urgently admitted and operated on. The bleeding was stopped, and he is currently out of danger and has been transferred to the intensive care unit for further monitoring," Radojicic told Kosovo Online.

As they say for our portal in the Health Center Zvecan, where M.J. was admitted and from where he was transported by ambulance to the hospital in North Mitrovica, the wounded man said that he was shot by the ROSU unit members near the Bistrica bridge while he was driving his car on the main road from Leposavic to Zvecan.
