Radojevic: Pressure on Serbs is constant, the Serb List is the bulwark of the survival of the Serbian people
Serb List candidate Milan Radojevic emphasized that the pressure on the Serbian people in Kosovo is constant because Albin Kurti aims for there to be no Serbs in Kosovo, and the Serb List is the bulwark of their survival.
Radojevic, speaking to Newsmax, said that the pre-election campaign had officially started today. As he added, the Serb List began its campaign by visiting Kosovo Pomoravlje, where the members of the presidency spoke with citizens and presented the candidates and the program.
"The Serb List has been and remains the bulwark of the survival of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. We expect to win all 10 mandates," he stressed.
He reminded that the Serb List obstructed the adoption of the law on religious freedom, which was also an attempt to seize the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro.
"The Serb List does not only defend the interests of ordinary citizens but also those of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Our candidates, even when they were in institutions, fought against the seizure of Serbian property in places where bases were being built. We did not, like their supporters, give consent for the seizure of land," he added.
He announced that representatives of the Serb List will visit all citizens and present their program, and that the candidate list includes people of integrity who are respected in their communities.
Regarding the complaint filed by the Serb List against the CEC's decision about the composition of polling boards at voting locations, Radojevic said that this decision is just one in a series of pressures being applied to the Serb List.
He added that a response to the complaint is expected within 48 hours.
"This is just one in a series of pressures being applied to the Serb List. A little more than a year ago, Albin Kurti made a statement in Brussels and said that Serbs would suffer and pay. Since then, there has been constant pressure on the entire Serbian people. The removal of observer seats that belong to the Serb List is just one in a series of pressures. We expect that the complaint will be accepted," he emphasized.
He pointed out that it is scandalous that the Serb List does not have its own observers, for example, in North Mitrovica at polling stations with 6,000 voters.
"Kurti's policy is more than clear. He said that he wants to implement the Croatian scenario, and that means no Serbs in Kosovo. When there are no Serbs, there are no problems. You saw what happened when the flag was removed in Gorazdevac, and to the local man who simply commented on Facebook and said what we all think, that is, our citizen from Zvecan because of a post on Facebook," Radojevic emphasized, adding that police repression is a daily occurrence.
