Just since the beginning of the year, there have been more than ten incidents where the Serbs were targeted in Kosovo, and the last one in the series happened last night in Suvi Do when a group of Albanians stoned a car with Sasa Blazic in it.

Lawyer Milan Antonijevic tells Kosovo Online that the frequent attacks on the Serbs in Kosovo are absolutely reprehensible and that the only solution is the formation of the CSM and compliance with all agreements reached in Brussels.

He pointed out that the numerous incidents to which the Serbian community had been exposed during the last months in Kosovo indicated that someone was not satisfied with the peace that Serbia and the international community stood for, from the European Union and the most vocal members of France, Germany, and Italy, to the United States of America.

"What both Serbia and the international community must monitor is whether the perpetrators have been found and punished. If the Kosovo institutions do not do everything to reduce the incidents and punish the perpetrators, they take responsibility for each of the incidents", Antonijevic says.

He adds that the normalization of relations, compliance with all Brussels agreements, along with the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities as the first indicator that Pristina wants to calm tensions, is the only solution.

"Both young Albanians and Serbs are leaving Kosovo at the moment, fleeing from aggression, and this is an issue that every responsible politician in Kosovo must deal with. The Ibar knot must be solved, not set on fire," Antonijevic says.
