Azemi: Berishaj is the “ATM” of the Self-Determination Movement
LDK official, Visar Azemi, said that the Self-Determination Movement had put a person at the head of the energy system in the country who had only produced energy crises, Reporteri reports.
Among other things, Azemi said that due to this abuse and mismanagement of Kosovo Energy Corporation, the need for importing electricity had increased.
"Here is the trinity, Kurti, Berishaj and Krasniqi, because Kurti named both of them and that was the situation that Mr. Krasniqi and Mr. Berishaj met in Croatia at a time when Kosovo was importing electricity and when Ambassador Berishaj was a representative of a Slovenian company that sold electricity in the region," Azemi said on T7.
He stated that the party in power protected corruption, because according to him, something connected the Kosovo Energy Corporation, the energy import agreed by Ambassador Berishaj, and the figure of over one million euros that had been withdrawn from Kosovo.
When it comes to the statements of the government and the Kosovo Energy Corporation that the profit amounted to 107 million euros, Azemi said that this was a consequence of the increase in the price of electricity and the lack of capital investments in this company.
"It seems that the goal is only to import electricity from Martin Berishaj and use it as an ATM," Azemi added.
