Former President of the Central Election Commission, Professor Mazlum Baraliu, said that he does not believe that the ruling party nor the opposition will be able to form a government independently, reports Ekonomia Online.

Baraliu stressed that political parties should take into account the message that citizens gave them with their votes in the February 9 elections.

He stated on TV Klan Kosova that neither the ruling party, Vetëvendosje, nor other parties can form a government on their own, which shows that citizens are not satisfied with the four-year government.

"Self-Determination received as many as ten percent fewer votes and it is clear that something needs to be changed. The same coalition led by Self-Determination cannot be trusted to govern well in the future. In the current situation, as you can see, we have little position, in the situation we are in, neither the opposition will be able to form a government nor a position. The message is clear. They should take into account the message of the voters and create a broad government of national unity and let everyone rule," Baraliu said.
