The Serb List has strongly condemned the raid by Kosovo Police on the premises of social welfare centers in four northern Kosovo municipalities, emphasizing that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s regime, disappointed by the election results, is using the last days of its rule to once again attack everything Serbian.

The Serb List pointed out that the raid on social welfare centers had been carried out to make life more difficult for the Serbian people in Kosovo—both for the employees of these institutions and the recipients of social assistance.

"Disappointed by the election results and defeated, Albin Kurti’s anti-Serb regime is using the final days of its tyrannical rule to once again attack everything Serbian. Today, without any justification, his paramilitary groups occupied the premises of social welfare centers in four northern Kosovo and Metohija municipalities, with the intention of making life harder for the Serbian people in these areas, both for the employees in these institutions and for those receiving social benefits," the statement reads.

The Serb List stated that neither employees nor social assistance recipients would lose their entitlements and that party leadership would meet with employees today to provide full support.

"The Serb List strongly condemns this illegal and anti-Serb action by Kurti’s factions and assures that no employee or social assistance recipient will lose their entitlements. Today, our party leadership will meet with the affected employees and provide all possible support. We urge citizens not to fall for the provocations of Kurti’s defeated loyalists. In the days ahead, we will do everything necessary to restore normalcy and, together with our citizens, bring normal life back to our municipalities, villages, and towns," the statement continued.

The party called on Quint embassies, UNMIK, OSCE, and KFOR to unequivocally condemn these escalating actions, which severely endanger the lives of thousands of social assistance recipients, the most vulnerable segment of the Serbian community.

"There is no more room for weak statements or mild reactions. We demand a clear condemnation of these actions and a call for a return to the previous state of affairs. Anything less would be an indirect endorsement of violations of the Serbian people’s rights," the statement concluded.
