Berisha: Gervalla's statements in line with Kurti's anti-Western views

Anton Berisha, a member of the Presidency of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), says that Minister of Foreign Affairs Donika Gervalla is irresponsible and that her "anti-Albanian" agenda is concerning, Gazeta Blic reports.

Berisha emphasized that Gervalla's views are in line with those of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who, according to him, leads an "anti-European" policy.

"She is an irresponsible minister, with fundamental shortcomings in diplomatic communication. And what is concerning is that her statements are malicious and serve an anti-Albanian agenda. It is unnecessary to comment on Kosovo being hostile toward Europe. According to the standards of this government, Kurti is the leader of an anti-Western policy. He constantly makes irresponsible statements, such as the one with Secretary Blinken. Such statements reveal their inclination toward hostility with the Western world," Berisha said.

He added that Kosovo cannot afford to speak Gervalla's language.

"Kosovo does not have the luxury of declaring war on the EU. Such statements only harm Kosovo, as we are not in a position to use such language," Berisha emphasized.
