Berisha: In the north, the state of Kosovo ceased to exist, it returned under Resolution 1244

Member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and former commander of KLA Hisen Berisha said that in the north of Kosovo "the spirit" of the Kosovo constitution "ceased" and that EULEX police patrolling that part had reinstated Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council.

"The first duty of the opposition is to stop the government and treason through the so-called two-part plan 'choose or leave' because there is nothing to choose! So, let's return Kosovo territory as it has a map in the flag or change the flag, and make it with a new map, without those parts that we do not govern, i.e. that are left out of state institutions, losing institutional control over more than 17 percent of the territory in the north of the country, with the trend of expansion," Berisha said on Facebook.

According to his words, the current Kosovo government has brought "the third republic, which is the bankruptcy of the Republic of Kosovo - an independent and sovereign state in all aspects".

Berisha stated that the Government of Kosovo did not have a mandate for treason.

"Anyone who claims to represent Kosovo in the negotiations must appear in the Assembly of Kosovo before leaving and after returning. Any attempt to behave differently is treason and an unconstitutional act," Berisha said.
