Borrell before the meeting with Vucic and Kurti: We need a de-escalation of the situation

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell said before today's meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti that the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina was needed.

Borrell posted on Twitter that he had scheduled an urgent dialogue with Kurti and Vucic for today.

"We need de-escalation of the situation, stop going from permanent crisis management & start advancing on normalisation of relations instead", Borrell stated.
