Bildt: Pristina took the first steps towards escalation in the north of Kosovo

Former Prime Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt said today that there were many responsible for the new crisis in the north of Kosovo, but that Pristina took the first steps that started the escalation, after which everything "went downhill".

Bildt said on Twitter that the situation in Kosovo was very bad.

"There is plenty of blame to go around for the new crisis in northern Kosovo, but the first steps that started the cycle of escalation was taken by the Pristina side. Then it’s been downhill from there. And now it’s really bad," said Bildt.
