Blushi: The Unification of Kosovo and Albania is the only chance for survival

Writer and politician Ben Blushi said that the only possibility for Albania and Kosovo to survive was the unification, which he sees as an unfinished project, Koha reports.

"Twenty years ago, the project of the Albanians was to liberate Kosovo from Serbia. This happened. Thirty years ago, the project of the Albanians was to get Albania out of the dictatorship and that happened. There is one unfinished project left, which is the unification of Albania and Kosovo," Blushi said, in an interview with Koha, answering the question of where are the Albanians on the 110th anniversary of the declaration of independence of Albania.

According to him, Albania is becoming a smaller country, many people are leaving, and Kosovo is depressed, isolated, and lonely.

"I had that impression when I came. The only possibility for these two countries to survive and to get energy; for our diaspora to return and to create Albania and Kosovo, is the unification," says Blushi, who organized the photo exhibition "Ukraine for 10 hours." in the National Museum of Kosovo.
