Brnabic with Escobar: We are grateful to the US for supporting the dialogue and the formation of the CSM

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, spoke today with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Special Envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, about the dialogue process with Pristina and cooperation between Serbia and the US.

As stated in the announcement of the Government of Serbia, during the meeting with Escobar, Brnabic underlined that Serbia's goal was to preserve peace and stability and strengthen cooperation in the region, as well as the commitment to the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the resolution of open issues.

"Brnabic emphasized the importance and significance of the full implementation of the agreements signed so far, above all the Brussels Agreement, as well as the importance of the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities," the announcement states.

It is added that Brnabic thanked Escobar for the support of the US in the dialogue conducted under the auspices of the European Union, as well as for the support they provided to the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.

"Brnabic and Escobar also discussed the overall cooperation between the two countries and its further improvement," the statement emphasized.
