Brnabic: I hope we will see sanctions against Pristina and a change in the US and EU policy

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, stated in the parliament that she hoped that in the coming days, we would see a change in the policy of the US and the European Union, that is, that we would see sanctions against Pristina in action, due to the behavior of Albin Kurti.

"I hope that we will see, as we sense these days, to some extent a change in the policy of both the EU and the US, which in history was impossible to even imagine - that Pristina would suffer some sanctions because of its behavior," Brnabic said.

She pointed out that the policy of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, which implied patience, perseverance, and tolerance, along with the incredible self-discipline of the Serbs in Kosovo, had led to the fact that we might see some sanctions for Pristina in the days ahead, as well as tomorrow.

"I am very grateful to President Vucic and the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija because they enabled us to see such things with their smart policy. And, I hope that this will lead to a final and long-term change in the policy of the US and the EU. And, we will be there for our people,” Brnabic said.

She added that the President, the government, and the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, worked constantly and hard to assist the Serbs in Kosovo.

"I want to express my deepest possible gratitude to them today, from here, for their struggle, patience, and forbearance, for protecting our Serbia in the Kosovo and Metohija region, and we will do our best with the Serb List to provide them with everything they need, all possible help and support," Brnabic said, answering questions from the members of the parliament regarding additional aid to the Serbs in Kosovo.
