Bundestag MP: Escalation of conflict caused by Kurti's decisions must end

Member of the Left Party in the German Bundestag and President of the Left faction in the Defense Committee, Zaklin Nastic, says that the escalation of the conflict fueled by the decisions of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti must end.

Nastic posted on Twitter that the people of the Balkans had experienced enough suffering and misery and that conflicts should be prevented.

"I am deeply concerned that the tensions in the north of Kosovo are increasing. The escalation course, which was mainly fueled by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, must end. All efforts must now be focused on maintaining and permanently guaranteeing peaceful coexistence according to UN Resolution 1244. The people of the Balkans have experienced enough suffering and misery. A new armed conflict must therefore be prevented by all diplomatic means," Nastic stated.
