Dacic and Borrell: All efforts should be focused on continuing the dialogue

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic met with the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union and Vice President of the European Commission Josep Borrell on the sidelines of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Ministerial Council in Lodz, Poland.

Dacic and Borrell exchanged opinions on the current state of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and agreed that all efforts should be focused on continuing the dialogue since the conversation was the only right way to resolve open issues, as well as to reach a sustainable agreement.

Minister Dacic emphasized that Serbia was committed to the improvement of regional cooperation, which directly contributed to the building of mutual trust and to the process of reconciliation, and encouraged the overall development of Serbia on its way to full membership in the European Union.

Dacic stated during the meeting that Serbia's membership in the European Union remained a strategic goal. He also pointed out that Serbia remained fully committed to the reform process and the improvement of all spheres of society.
