The daughter of the arrested Dejan Pantic: Five days have passed and we don't know anything; give us at least one call

Ivana Pantic, the younger daughter of the arrested Dejan Pantic, today appealed to the international community for help in order to get in touch with her father, five days after the Kosovo police had arrested him without grounds.

"Does my father have any rights in that detention; does he have the right to communicate with his lawyer; does he have the right to a medical examination and a phone call? I ask everyone and I appeal to the international community; what are his rights? Five days have passed and we don't know anything about him; we haven’t heard from him about how he is and whether he received those medicines. I am asking everyone to give us at least one call or visit so that we can at least hear from him; how he is doing and in what conditions he is there." Ivana says.

Due to the arrest of Dejan Pantic, the Serbs in the north of Kosovo have been standing at barricades on the main roads for the fifth day, demanding that the authorities in Pristina release Pantic.
